It’s the most wonderful time of the month – Mixology Monday! Our deepest thanks to Scott from the Shake, Strain & Sip blog for hosting this month and giving a wonderful theme which is Temperance! We’re going to be using a shrub with pears, ginger, honey solution and pepper corn for our tasty cocktail, not to mention, its non-alcoholic.

How long does the shrub base keep? How do you store it?
Hi there–Chris left this in a cool, dry place sealed in the mason jar for 2 days. You could check it in 24 hours to see how you like it at that point and let it sit for up to another 24 hours depending on personal flavor preference.
