It’s all about simplicity.

This recipe is about as simple and delicate as it gets. Two ingredients, both aromatic and light, garnished with a lemon peel. I’m not sure it gets any simpler than that. Credit goes to Philip Duff – and unfortunately I’m not quite sure the backstory for this one.

The flavor of this drink is very soft and light – it pairs two easy overshadowed, aromatic flavors in a glass and they both shine through brilliantly. I felt like in some ways, it reminded be of a gentler, softer old fashioned. It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Genever – so this one might just be joining our “go to” list!
