Fog Cutter Cocktail

The best part about this cocktail is that it combines everything you already have on your bar shelf: gin, cognac, pisco, rum, orgeat syrup, orange juice, lemon juice and cherry. Once you have all the ingredients, all you need to do is shake it up and serve!

Something a Little Bit Different…

This month, we’re doing something a little different. While we love crafting weekly cocktails for you, we’ve decided to pass the baton and highlight the craftsmanship of our Craft Cocktail Club members. (Who, by the way, are incredibly talented behind the bar!)

First Up: The Fog Cutter

Our first feature goes to Tony Kennedy. He created a beautiful Fog Cutter that looks absolutely amazing, especially with it dazzling in the sun on his Amsterdam balcony (no, I’m not jealous…I swear). With summer right around the corner, this is the perfect lounging-in-the-sun drink!

Tony’s inspiration came from a situation we’re all familiar with: lockdown. With so much time on his hands, he began the quest of self-teaching and learned how to craft quality cocktails. While Tony started with an existing recipe, he played around and added a different flare each time. Eventually, he got the taste just right and nailed down the perfect recipe.

“It was my first attempt at making this drink,” Tony said. “I make a different one each time, and have only repeated a couple, but not this one yet. I wouldn’t change anything really, I liked the taste.”

If you’re wondering how this Fog Cutter tastes, Tony says tropical, fruity and a little rum forward, (but not too much.)

Thanks again Tony for sharing your cocktail in the group, and letting us share it here! Ready to recreate Tony’s Fog Cutter? Check out the recipe below!

P.S. Our Craft Cocktail Club is for all cocktail nerds, from beginners to connoisseurs. Don’t be shy; Join the club!
