An Apple a Day…

OK, apple cider probably doesn’t have all of the same health benefits of eating an actual apple, but this drink brings a whole lot of apple flavor – and that counts too, right?

Leaning on a hefty portion of apple cider gives the cocktail a strong apple backbone, which partners perfectly with two similar (but very different) apple brandies. It features both Copper & Kings’ aged and unaged apple brandies (because why not?) and a bit of pear puree to add sweetness.

Apple, apple, and more apple.

The final cocktail is very refreshing and very apple-forward with hard spice notes from the Angostura bringing complexity and depth. Meanwhile the pear adds a hint of sweetness and the cider’s effervescence brings a pleasant mouthfeel as well.

In a word: It’s just tasty!

With apple, brandy and bitters, this one’s sure to please. It’s crisp and refreshing with a little bite - just like those late summer Granny Smiths.
