We’ve covered so many great cocktails lately, especially ones featuring Cointreau. It’s less common to see the other most-famous orange liqueur, Grand Marnier, featured in a cocktail, though. So today, we’re featuring The Brotherhood, a delicious cocktail that mixes whiskey with Grand Marnier and lemon juice.

This cocktail is just fun. Herbal and honey notes from the Benedictine make this drink even more complex. It is rich in flavor and in depth, but it’s because of those dynamics that you’ll feel like you’re getting something new with every sip.

The Brotherhood

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 0.75 oz Benedictine
  • 0.75 oz Grand Marnier
  • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker tin with ice.
  • Give a good shake for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain to coupe glass, and garnish with a zested lemon twist.
