Really Guys? Another Manhattan Variation?

I know, I know –  I hear you. But is it really any surprise when the Manhattan is arguably the most delicious cocktail there is? (No, I’m not biased at all!)

Unlike many of our other variations, this one is fairly well known. Like the Manhattan, it’s also named after one of New York’s five boroughs. Also like the Manhattan, it’s an unmistakably whiskey-forward drink. But that’s where the similarities end. The Brooklyn uses dry vermouth instead of sweet and a hint of maraschino on the side. (I’ll let you make your own judgments on what that’s saying about Manhattan vs. Brooklyn.)

SAVE A LITTLE LOVE FOR THE DRY VERMOUTH

Don’t let your dry vermouth languish in Martinis – this cocktail really is a delicious alternative for when you’re looking for something with whiskey but feeling like something a bit lighter, brighter, and maybe just a hint of pepper.
