What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas… at least not when it comes to cocktail competitions! The United States Bartenders’ Guild has teamed up with the Bar & Restaurant Expo convention in Vegas to host an epic contest in search of the most creative bartenders in the country– and ultimately to give someone the title of “U.S. Champion” and represent the USBG at the IBA Global Cocktail Competition, to be held in Portugal in the fall of 2024.
Bartenders are asked to submit their most unique cocktail with a one-minute video explanation of the inspiration behind their creations. Finalists will then be assigned a sponsored spirit with which to make their cocktail live at the B&R Expo in Vegas on March 20th, 2024. One lucky winner will move on to the International competition while one runner-up will compete for the USBG at the Pan-American Cocktail Championship in the fall of 2024.
