Tanteo’s Mexican Standoff Bartending Competition

For years, Tanteo Tequila has pitted some of the nation’s most talented bartenders against one another in a competition to create the most inventive, most unexpected and most delicious Tanteo cocktails. This year, they are opening it up to you!
Enter this competition for a chance to win $10,000! You could earn a special place in spicy tequila history — plus all-expense paid trips TO THE SEMI-FINALS, AND FINALS. Here’s how it works:
- Between 4/1 – 4/30/22, anyone can create an original Tanteo recipe and share it on Instagram. Tag the bar you’re repping (if applicable) and tag@tanteotequila and use #tanteostandoff22. (More details here!)
- The Tanteo judges will choose 16 semi-finalists based on creativity, complexity, taste and social media engagement. Each will win $1,000 ($500 to them, $500 to a charity of their choice), plus an all-expense paid trip to compete in their closest semi-finals — Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles or New York City.
- Semi-final winners earn another all-expense paid trip to the Standoff championship, taking place in November in Mexico!
- Finalists compete in front of a live audience for a chance to take home the title, plus $5,000 for themselves and an additional $5,000 to a charity of their choice.
