- 2 oz Rum
- 1-2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Batter
- 4 oz Hot Water
Hot Buttered Rum Batter Ingredients
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/8 tbsp Ground Cloves
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
Cocktail Instructions
- Preheat a toddy glass or mug with warm water, then discard hot water.
- Add all ingredients to warmed mug.
- Stir until the batter has fully dissolved.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick or studded lemon peel.
Batter Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix well to incorporate.
- Put into a sealed container and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
