Cocktail Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rum
  • 1-2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Batter
  • 4 oz Hot Water

Hot Buttered Rum Batter Ingredients

  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tbsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

Cocktail Instructions

  • Preheat a toddy glass or mug with warm water, then discard hot water.
  • Add all ingredients to warmed mug.
  • Stir until the batter has fully dissolved.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or studded lemon peel.

Batter Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix well to incorporate.
  • Put into a sealed container and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
