This cocktail pairs cognac and yellow Chartreuse with the tart acidity of baking apples to create a delicious herbal apple drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Cognac (I used VS)
  • 1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Honey Syrup
  • 2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
  • 3 slices Tart Apples Sliced thinly

Honey Syrup

  • 1/4 oz Honey
  • 1/4 oz water

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients
  • Shake
  • Fine-strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice
  • Garnish with fresh apple slices with freshly grated cinnamon

Honey Syrup

  • Combine water and honey
  • Heat for 15 seconds in the microwave
  • Stir until honey has completely dissolved
