Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds. Cut ¼ of the cantaloupe into very small pieces (1/2” cubes), removing the skin in the process.
Put the chopped cantaloupe in a bowl and add the sugar. Stir well.
Cover the bowl with a towel and leave for 2-3 hours.
Strain the chopped cantaloupe with a colander.
Add vodka to taste.
