Twin Toddies
A Tale of Two Toddies: One hot and one cold, these two variations on the classic Hot Toddy are infused with tea.
Ingredients
Tea Infused Maker’s Mark
Holiday Tea Simple Syrup
Instructions
  1. Combine infused Maker’s Mark, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg whites in a shaker. Dry shake.
  2. Add ice and shake once again.
  3. Fine-strain into a cocktail glass.
  4. Decorate with 7 drops of Peychaud’s Bitters. Drag a toothpick through the bitters to resemble a snowflake.
Tea Infused Maker’s Mark
  1. Add all ingredients and stir well.
  2. Steep the tea bags for 15 minutes, then remove and discard.
Holiday Tea Simple Syrup
  1. Add two bags of tea to 6 oz of hot water.
  2. Steep tea for 15 minutes, then remove tea bags and discard.
  3. Add white sugar and barley syrup. Mix well.
  4. Cool completely before using.
