Spring Time Shrub Soda
Here’s a recipe for a really delicious pear and black pepper shrub that you can use to make cocktails or (in this case) a tasty soda.
For the Shrub:
Apple Cider Vinegar
For the Soda:
To Prepare the Shrub:
Cut up the pears and dice the ginger
Heat up vinegar & honey in microwave-safe bowl until warm
Combine everything in a non-reactive, air-tight container
Let the mixture sit for 2 days in a cool, dry place
Combine 2-3 parts soda water with 1 part shrub in a Collins glass over ice.
