Here’s our contribution to Mixology Monday and this time, it’ll be about Resin! Thank you, Christa and Shaun from BoozeNerds for hosting this event! I was tempted to go the easy route and use gin, but decided instead to make a take on a Whiskey Sour with maple syrup infused with rosemary.

Mixology Monday: The Resinator Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon I used Maker's Mark
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz Egg Whites
- 1 dash Cardamom Tincture
- 1 twist Lemon for garnish
For Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
Instructions
- Add the Makers Mark Bourbon, Lemon juice and Rosemary Infused Maple Syrup to a shaker.
- Add the Egg Whites.
- Add a dash of Cardamom Tincture.
- Dry shake with a blender ball (if you have one), then add ice and shake to chill.
- Strain and garnish.
To Make the Rosemary Maple Syrup:
- Add half a cup of maple syrup to a microwave-proof bowl or measuring cup.
- Add two sprigs of Rosemary.
- Microwave for 30 seconds and allow to sit for 10 minutes.
- Let cool and fine-strain before using.
